I met her at the supermarket after our class. My thoughts were just filled with words. It's called...
Supermarket Love
One look,
I thought I saw an angel.
As if blinded by the lights,
Almost mesmerizing,
Even if I'm just standing,
In a brightly lit supermarket.
One more glimpse,
Oh, it's someone I knew,
How embarrassing,
Silly look on my face,
Surely there must be a reason,
Why I was speechless,
Knees weaken,
A split second paused.
Another look,
Smiles flashes,
I stood there numb,
What could be wrong with me,
Is it her smile or just my indigestion?
Now it's imprinted,
Chiseled unto my heart,
The whole encounter,
Remain an unforgettable mystery.
