Bittersweet You

Such a character, I believe those who encounter her will experience this, and its these kind of bittersweetness that will keep those who fell for her a new kind of love level. This inspired me to write this poem about her. I called it, "Bittersweet You".

Bittersweet you,
You are aloof and nonchalant most the time,
Expressiveness is hardly present,
Hidden well behind your beauty.
Bittersweet you,
Your words are stinging at times,
But your discreet attentiveness ,
Are like invisible little wonders floating around you.
Bittersweet you,
Always worries and restless,
Yet your soft gentle care,
Silently magnify through your glances.
Bittersweet you,
Your firmness comes from your words,
Your independence comes from your actions,
Still, your eyes twinkle subtle eagerness,
That captures the very me.
Bitterness you,
You are efficient in professionalism,
Perfectionism in productivity is your goal,
Though its you being you that amazes me.
Bittersweet you,
Your contradictions blow me out of proportions,
Wonderful you are to the very me,
Melting the core of my very heart.
Bittersweet you,
Never before I've encounter such bittersweetness,
Sucked me in like a tornado,
Swept me off like a hurricane,
Struck me like an arrow.
My bittersweet you,
You gave me something,
No one has given before,
A yearn for that long-lasting aftertaste.
